Following on from the
initial releases on Cylob Industries, which consisted of brand new
material, the next Cylob album to see the light of day was a set of
previously unreleased recordings from 1994-1995, titled "Bounds Green".
The album is named after the first area of London that Cylob moved to,
around the time of his initial releases on Rephlex. It was also during
this era that he was crafting "Cylobian Sunset", which has since come
to be regarded as an underground classic. Full of the same warmth,
simplicity of style and melancholy as "Sunset", these hitherto lost
pieces were rediscovered after a trawl through the Cylobian DAT
archives.
In addition to being available as a digital download on Cylob
Industries, the album was licensed to Belgian label WeMe Records for a
special limited Vinyl edition, with an extra disc containing four
tracks not available online. This disc can still be ordered from the WeMe Website for a reasonable price!
A limited edition of 100
CDs was also made available by mail order and via a very select few
retailers, containing about 5 minutes of exclusive additional bonus
material.
